I am an expert in the reconstruction of road traffic collisions, including the mechanical examination of motor vehicles of all types. In this capacity I analyse the evidence surrounding road traffic collisions of a serious or fatal road nature and many other road traffic matters. I am experienced in the identification and capture of evidence from a scene as well as the study of evidence obtained by others. I have attended the scene of many hundred road traffic collisions and analysed an even higher number.

I hold a Master's Degree in Science in the field of Applied Physics (MSci Hons.), a Chartered Physicist (CPhys), a Licentiate of the City and Guilds Institute (LCGI) and an Advanced Automotive Engineer (AAE). I hold a City and Guilds Certificate in Forensic Collision Investigation and I am a Full Member of the Institute of Physics (MInstP), a Member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences (MCSFS) and within the Forensic Image Analysis Group. I am a Full Member of the Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators (MITAI), and a Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry (FIMI). I was a member of the Metropolitan Police Collision Investigation Unit, for 8 years prior to moving into private practice.
