When sending in your press release or article please see below our guidelines.
Please adhere to the following editorial guidelines when submitting your Press releases to the Federation of forensic and expert witness site and the Forensic and expert witness emag.
Do not send us articles or submit content that is simply reworded/rewritten. Instead, update the content of articles that have been previously published elsewhere or ask for our journalist to help you rewrite by requesting our FREE OF CHARGE PRESS RELEASE SUPPORT SERVICE (members only)
The use of repeating keywords will increase your SEO but keep in mind that your article needs to be informative, written for the visitor and potential client, not just search engines. Articles that attempt to manipulate search engine results with the use of repetitive keywords may not please the potential customer when reading. (Advice only)
How to layout your article
Enter your article content as plain text, properly formatted. The Federation will support hyperlinks, charts, graphs or images within the body of your article. After saving your article, please take a moment to preview it and make any necessary edits should you determine that the format of the text is obviously incorrect.
Length of Press releases accepted for online publishing and inclusion in the Emag
We accept normal length articles. 400-1200 words as a guideline. We ask that you keep the article to the guideline above.
Content of your Press release
Your Press release must be on a topic associated with your expert witness field of knowledge and should be written to be informative to the layperson. Please do not include the names of any individuals involved in cases unless cleared legally with the exception of public persons (such as celebrities, politicians, etc.)
Self-promoting Press releases
If the sole or main purpose of your article is to directly invite readers to contact your company, it will be considered self-promoting and we will be happy to put your press release forward to our readers but please be advised that informative and newsworthy content is also popular with our readers.
Each article will be reviewed by our editor and may be removed or may undergo minor edits without notification. If an article needs more extensive review, you will receive an email or phone call inviting you to make changes.
